Transmission problem
1996 Ford Escort 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 170+ miles
transmission not shifting to 2nd, just changed fluid and filter. it shifts if you let off the gas though and after that it is fine. dont matter if it is cold or warm the first time.sometimes go down the road and stop and start driving again it works. i changed the fluid because before it would really slip and then eventually not go at all. looked really brown.
