1995 Ford Escort 4 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual 160 K miles
Left the lights on one night - next day the battery was dead - had batter recharged, worked good for a couple days. Then battery lights started flashing - replaced a battery connector that was cracked and thought that would take care of the problem - but a couple days later the battery light started flashing again. Do you think the alternator needs to be replaced? Is the regulator inside the alternator?
