My 1995 Ford Escort has been leaking white smoke under the hood. You can smell antifreeze when it does this. It's not all the time, but the fan stopped working. I replaced the water pump, since it wasn't working. The smoke stopped until the next day, when the fan stopped running again. The head gasket looks good. (Smooth, no cracks visible) Could it be a cracked head?
