1994 Ford Escort Wipers won't shut off

Working on 1994 Escort wagon. Rebuilt alternator, relaced relays and changed wiper motor and still wipers will not shut off. They went on by themselves. Any ideas?

Which switch would that be? The on/off switch in car is in off position. They went on by themselves

yes that switch. It may not be turning off like it should. ALoowing the circuit to operate when it shouldn't.
