1994 Ford Escort Repacing the Blower Switch

Can you advise how to take apart the dash to remove the Heater Control unit so I can replace my Heater Blower Switch

Hi [email protected],Welcome to 2carpros and TY for the donation. 1994 Ford Escort L4-110 1.8L DOHC or 1994 Ford Escort L4-116 1.9L SOHC Blower Motor Switch Removal: 1.Remove the climate control assembly.

2.Remove the lever knob screws and the lever knobs.

3.Pull off the A/C switch knob and the blower motor switch knob.

4.Separate the control panel from the control body.

5.Remove the two blower motor switch screws. 6.Remove the defrost switch screw. If necessary, remove the temperature control cable screw and route the defrost switch and wiring free of the climate control assembly. 7.Carefully pull the blower motor switch and electrical connectors away from the climate control assembly. 8.Disconnect the A/C indicator illumination bulb from its socket.

9.Remove the blower motor switch. Installation: 1.Connect the A/C indicator illumination bulb into its socket. 2.Position the blower motor switch and install the two screws. 3.Route the defrost switch and wiring and install the defrost switch screw. 4.If removed, install the temperature control cable screw. 5.Attach the control panel to the control body. 6.Install the blower motor switch knob and the A/C switch knob. 7.Install the lever knobs and the lever knob screws. 8.Install the climate control assembly.
