1994 Ford Escort 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic
I am not getting any fuel to the fuel rail. I thought was the fuel pump because when I would turn the key I would not hear the fuel pump kick on. I took the fuel pump out and ran it direct and it worked. so I put it back in and checked it with a meter and it was only reading 7 volts. I put a new fuel pump it in and it still would not work. also when I had the fuel pump running direct I still didn't have any fuel comming up to the fuel rail itself. so if any one has an idea what i can check or need to replace that would be great. I am really close to putting a rag in the tank and setting it on fire.
