how do i check maxi fuses and and fusible links and where are they located?

The fusible links run off the starter solenoid, near the battery. the maxi fuses should be in the engine compartment fuse box.. It may only have one or the other. Fusible links are special melting wire. Pull on each one and see if they stretch. For the fuses, an ohmmeter works best.
