Transmission problem

Is there a gasket that can be replaced or a filter to stop the transmission from leaking? The cars value is not much so if the leaking is something major, it probably wont get fixed, however it is my only transportation right now so if there's something I can do to prolong the use of this car , anything that could possibly help, I would gratly appreciate it. thanks
