I was driving on a hot day and all of a sudden the ac stopped cooling.
I was hoping it was just low on freon.
When I checked the low side pressure, it read over 150 psi. I don't have guage for high side, only low side, and I'm sure I tested the low side connector.
I never added freon to system. I just checked the ac pressure.
The ac clutch turns on fine, but I noticed that even though its on, there is no noticable load on the engine or rpm drop.
Is it my compressor that is dead even though it spins.
Or the manual I have says its the evaporator orifice that went bad)orifice or the o-ring seals.
Thanks for any help/suggestion.
