I have a 2002 ford escape using a lot oil no leaks . whats going in the motor

If its not leaking internally could be burning in the cylinders and at the same time you'll be seeing blue smoke on the back, is this the case. If so could be valves and rings problem and cylinder wear.

Also check the crankcase oil could be milky
