A year ago I had an alignment and the rt wheel bearing assy repalced, there was a lot of road noise. A year later the tire/road noise is loud as ever. I just rotated the tires and at 55 mph and higher the noise get very loud. There appears to be no abnormal tire wear and I have Continentel tires. What might I check? Richard

Richard[/quote:7b5faee7c5] On my 2002 Escape, it was a rear wheel bearing. If you jack it up off the ground and turn the wheel by hand, you should be able to feel which one is bad. I got the bearing on Ebay new for $30, but it was a terrible 7 hour chore to replace it because of the way it is assembled.
