2002 Ford Escape I am female, where is egr valve located?

ok. first thing. return the egr valve and then purchase a egr pressure sensor or dpfe sensor its the same thing. this is the problem causing your codes. this sensor when you buy it will be self explanatoiry where it goes. just look for 2 rubber hoses that come off of exhaust to the sensor. let me know how you make out.
