Occassional no start problem. Happens rarely on re-starts after sitting short period of time. And it appears to happen when the air temperature is hot and humid. When it happened I waited an additional 15-30 minutes and it then will start.

Things already done:
fuel pressure key on=55 psi running=50 psi
after running held 50 psi over 5
minutes
cleaned MAF and air temp sensors, air filter is clean, no fault codes present, checked battery connections

The vechicle has had all normal service and runs great. Any thoughts on what to check next?

Thanks for your help!

I really appreciate your fast response! Understanding that it's like looking for a needle in a haystack trying to trouble shoot an intermitten problem. This is actually my wife's vechicle, so it will be difficult to check for spark after failure.

I scanned the computer for fault codes right after the first incident. No codes were present.

Are there any best guesses at what the most likely culprits could be? I was hopeful that a fairly common problem could be indentified.

Any and all feedback is appreciated. Have a great day...Wayne

Look for hint to help in pin pointing to the troubled area
like next time it fail to start
check if security light is on or blinking as she cranking
check if check engine light go out as she cranking or stay on
try and step on gas half way and crank to start
