2001 Ford Escape thump

whenever it hits a bump i hear a thump,sounds like its coming from front end.my mechanic has replaced both struts and right front axel and still have the same problem.any suggestions?

sway bar end links..... could also be the strut tops (mounts)

Has the strut turn plates or mounting plates been replaced? The other thought is maybe the sway bar endlinks or bar to frame bushings. If there is a strut rod it could be the bushing on it. I have those checked and see where that leads you. Thanks and hope this helps
