I have a 1994 Ford E250 Econoline cargo van that has over 130,000 miles. The tranny was rebuilt 2 months ago and now the same problem is occuring. It slips occasionally in and out of gear. I am told now it is a computer problem and the problem lies bewteen the dashboard and tranny(not in rear) and that they have to take the dashboard apart, big ordeal to find the problem. It is not the rear speed sensor. It is somewhere between the dashboard and the tranny. What does this sound like to you...HELP..It's costing more by the day..Already $2200.00 for the tranny , now 85.00 an hour for labor IF they can find it!

A PM is an acronym for Personal Message. By using PMs, other people can't learn from the post while they browse. If they can solve a problem by searching and reading previous posts, it reduces the enormous workload we have.

What engine size do you have?
IS this condition always happening?
Does it happen under certain situations...hot. cold etc.
Any info is helpful.

Deb, chill out...everything is fine.

You didn't PM me. That is in my signature. If your go to your profile, you will see where you can add one also. IT always comes up when I make a post.

Let's focus on the truck.

In addition to the above, what transmission model is in it?

I'm going offline very soon.
