1998 Ford E-Series Van V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I'm changing the spark plugs in my 1998 e-250 & all but one was a success. I can not get the socket onto the spark plug( I believe its #3). What are possible solutions to my problem?

have you tried using a 5/8" socket with a swivel and a short extension??? usually if you can get the coil off, the plug is easy.... im assuming this is a coil over plug setup....
