I have a e40d automatic transmission with a 7.3 turbo diesel It all of a sudden started shifting from 1st to 3rd and has no overdrive. I did a filter change and that didn't help. I had some electrical issues with the engine which are now fixed. when I was checking fuses and fusible links I unplugged the external connector that plugs into the solenoid pack the connector had trans fluid in it do you think the solenoid pack could be bad and causing this problem.or do I need to be looking somewhere else.
