Hi,
I would like to know if the rear differential could be damaged from a head on accident.A small Toyota car hit my Van -HEAD ON-hard on the driver's side and slipped under the van.THE SAME TIME MY VAN'S BACK SIDE (ON PASSENGER SIDE) SLAMMED AGAINST THE CURB -Also the impact was so strong the hood popped open on the van-There were no exterior damages...BUT when Next time I drove my van it started doing a clicking noise and shook on the freeway (around 50mph).
The mechanic said my read end differential need to be replaced.
The insurance company is looking at the VAN this friday and I wanted to ask you:
FROM THIS ACCIDENT:CAN MY REAR DIFFERENTIAL BE DAMAGED?
