Brakes problem
1994 Ford E-Series Van
A leak has become apparent in the main brake line from the master cylinder to the rear end housing block. The Firestone Store mechanic says the anti-lock wires for the rear brakes is contained inside the brake line and there's no available replacement to fix the leak. Is it possible to disconnect the brake line from the front to the back connections and simply install a new brake line to do the repair??? My Great-grandfather, my Grandfather and my father drove motor vehicles that never had anti-lock brakes for years and never had an accident from locked brakes. Why can't I just replace the brake line and get back to driving my Club Wagon??
