ford c6 tranny wont go in reverse when cold after driving around the block it will go intoreverse fine, this is in a motorhome with 57,000 orig. miles after sitting all winter this problem occured, but worked great last summer,
i bought lucas tranny treatment and drained all tranny fluied replaced filter and put in new fluied nd lucas treatment, not it slips in between 2nd and 3rd gear on the freeway is this the treatment or is the tranny going out? or is it a servo? thanks in advance

your tranny has bands in it that could be the problem there is a way to adjust that next to the tranny is a bolt and screw assy. that does this lossen the one and adjust and then hold the screw in place and tighten the nut. then too it could be the valve assy inside the tranny that is shot that you have to take out and put in a new one. then too if you ran low on fluid a few times the bands are then just burned out and you need a new tranny. if you use low a lot it can happen from over heating and the tranny is shot remember HEAT is the death of trannys get a tranny cooler to add on especially in a moter home
