Engine Mechanical problem
1964 Ford E-Series Van 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual ????? miles

Not used for twenty years. Engine won't start. Maybe water damage? Someone knowledgeable about this particular engine in the Glendora, ca area. Am interested in getting this back on the road for old time's sake.

As for assistance in finding a mechanic this i can't help as i am in Australia, but with this engine any qualified mechanic should be able to do any work required, may be a ring around and try older long established work shops, as for the engine, as it has been sitting for so long, i feel that you will be wasting your time trying to breath some life into it, you would be better served do a re build and start from new as all the seals will be perished and there well may be serious corrosion in the bores.
