Twice in the last 2 weeks, my headlights have gone out while driving at night while the switch was in the autolamp setting. They did not come back on when I turned the light switch to "headliamps on" but the high beams do burn when I manually hold back the dimmer switch.

What is the most likely source of this problem and is replacing the worn out part (switch, light control module, photo sensor) something that a do-it-yourselfer with average skills and knowledge can do? If so, can you recommend an on-line source for the replacement part?

In this diagram, it shows the main switch.
there is a tan/white wire from the lighting control module to the main light switch. it is the
the connection at the (1) autolamp, make sure it connected or the connector c2145b is connected to the lighting control module, mean have power when autolamp is on.

I have send you a diagram in your email
