My brake warning light is on. I was wondering what could have caused it to come on. My check engine light came on when I was coming out of a rocky and rough driveway. Do you think there is something wrong with the engine.

The brake light is one of 2 things. The brake fluid is low allowing the sensor to drop and turn on the light, or the emergency brake switch is open.
As for the check engine light, major parts houses will read the code for free. Please post the exact code number back here and we can help you.
