Engine Mechanical problem
1993 Ford Crown Victoria V8 Automatic 150,00 miles
my car is back firing from the engine, i let it run for 5min or more before taking off. it goes real slow down the street even if i put the pedal to the floor and still back firing at the same time. after going 2 to 3 blks then it kicks in and runs fine, until it is left for hours at a time then it starts all over again.what could be the problem? and is it expensive to fix?
this is also a police intercepter car that i bought 3yrs ago.
