The break line the goes to the caliper. We changed the caliper, now we can not get that bolt lined up. We have the crushable copper gaskets on each side of the line. We have been able to get the bolt lined up to be able to tighten, but not hold pressure to use. I have completed auto training at Lincoln Tech. I have experience with Isuzu Rodeos and the bolt having 2 holes, 1 for each side. But this bolt, with 1 hole on 1 side. Please tell me the trick.
thank you,

You may want to remove the tire from the other side so you can compare what you are working with.It should be a mirror image of the side you are working on.That way you can see if it is timed wrong.Did you match the new caliper up to the old one to be sure it is right? The sealing surfaces must be completely clean of debris to seal properly

Not 1 part of the response had anything to do with the BOLT. Yes, I am fully aware of pulling the tire for question of the mirror image. I just wanted to know about "LINING UP THE FLOW THRU PORT OF THE BOLT. THE TRICK TO LINING UP THE HOLE." Anyone who has experience in working with brakes knows that all surfaces must be clean. The response to my question, did not answer my question. If the tech does not know, please have the next response answer my question.

I do apologize, I guess I dont understand what part of the bolt you are trying to line up.If you are referring to the timing of the holes in the hollow bolt in relation to the caliper, it doesnt matter. There is a hollow channel all the way around the bolt in the brake hose. Otherwise please send a pic

yes you did, my experience has not been with ford.
I was quite frustrated. A friend told me "the 1 hole had to line up". I trusted him considering fords are all he works on. Thank you very much.
