I have a 98 ford contour se with a 2.5 and 70000 miles. It was running fine and the next day it wouldn't start so i did the usual checks and found that it had no spark so i called the dealer and was told it could be the cam or crank sensor or even the coil pack . so now that i have replaced all of that and rechecked the fuses i still have no spark so what do i do at this point?

Do this crank it over while listening to the injector/s is it clicking?

Could be that the computer is not recieving the crank/cam signal and therefore not telling the ICM to fire the coil.

when my car did that it was the crank sensor and my car has over 180000 and my coil pack never went bad so its the crank sensor i bet you it is and that it the biggest pain to put in

However if it is a cam or crank sensor how do i get it to recognize the new ones or why won't it on it's own? And is there anything else it could be?
