Hello My mother has a power steering leak in her 99 Ford Contour. It has 48,000 miles on it. She went to a local Ford dealership because of a noise she heard while turning the wheel and was told the lines were rusted. They told her the parts were no longer made and had to be special ordered. The price they gave her for replacing four power steering lines and cooler was $681.00. This seem a high price to me. Should I have my mom get it repaired somewhere else? Or, can I get the parts and replace them myself?
