1999 Ford Contour Idle

My 1999 ford contour svt will not idle. It runs fine once I am on the road, but any timy I come to a stop the car shuts off as it cannot maintain proper rpms to idle. Any ideas?

Check the idle air control valve/motor/ISC and the EGR and PCV valves-

Dirty fuel injector. I picked up some fuel injector cleaner at the gas station and put it in about 3 weeks, however, I hadn't driven my car much since then. After cycling through about 3/4 of my gas tank, the idle problem seems to be fixed.
