1998 Ford Contour HORN

Electrical problem
1998 Ford Contour 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive

It doesnt sound the horn. Fuses are aparently fine...But my cuestions is: WHERE ISIT ? i CANT FOUNDIT.

may want to check horn relay first, located at left front corner of engine compartment, in battery junction box. As for the horn itself, each side there is a square access hole just behind the fog light locations. Through this access hole & adjacent the inside of the fender you will find the horn on the driver side.

Had the same problem on my '98 and discovered rust/corrosion on the horn bracket was preventing it from grounding. Horn worked fine when I tested it with 12 volts, then I cleaned the bracket before bolting it back up and the horn worked fine. So, make sure the mounting bracket is grounding properly to complete the circuit.
