Thanks, I hot wired both fans and they both run. I could see another sensor by the radiator on the lower left side, I saw 2 wires by it, I hot wired those to the battery and the fan did work. What else can you suggest.

I replaced the ect but still have a problem with the fan not kicking in. The needle still goes up to high. I don't hear the fan kicking in.

The cicuit should be OK if when you crossed the switch wires the fan came on, Are you watching to see if it comes on? If still not working, it may be a prolem from the a/c part of the circuit, will look into it.

As I was replacing the temperature sending sensor, I observed that when I unplugged it both fans turned on. What could this mean?

It probably means the sensor is no good, not calling for the fans, reporting wrong Ohms to PCM.

I did replace the sensor, the fans still do not kick in. But when I disconnect the harness from the sensor while the car is running the fans do kick in. Now what?
