1998 Ford Contour accelerates on own

1998 Ford Contour 6 cyl Automatic 111, miles

Two problems here: This car has 111,000 miles on it. Feels like throttle stuck, misses once in a while and will not alllow me to put gas in tank. Keeps clicking off even though my husband checked the fuel line and there are no visible signs of kinking. I swear this car is haunted and driving me crazy! This car just wants to drive itself!

if it feels like the throttle is stuck try lubing it with some wd-40.

for the fuel pump shutting off constantly i would check the vapor check valve on the tank, as long with the charcoal canister and all the vapor lines.
