1997 Ford Contour 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual

The upper radiator hose busted while I was driving down the street and my car also has a fuel line leak what can I do to get my car fixed the right way without costing an arm and a leg?

Hi there,

The burst hose is a sign of aging coolant hoses, i would consider replacing all the hoses and fitting a new thermostat and pressure cap, flushing the coolant as well, as for the fuel leak, you will have to identify the leak, possibly a loose connection that will require re tightening, but with out more info on this i can't comment any further.
