I have recently had a problem with my '95 Contour. I'm pretty sure it's the overdrive. When I'm driving 80 km/h, the rpm gauge goes up to 3, and dosen't come down unless I let off the gas pedal. I tried to turn the overdrive off, and then back on. But, it makes no difference whether it's off or on. It really worries me, because I've been going through gas more than normal, and these cars are normally very good on gas. I'd like to know what the problem is, so, I can get it fixed asap. My Dad thinks he knows what the problem is, I'd just like to get a second opinion.
