When driving the car if the gas tank isn't near full, about an hour into the drive a gas smell comes into the cab. Yesterday when this happened I pulled into a gas station and opened the gas cover. An incredible amount of pressure was released. Without putting in any gas, I began my drive home there was no gas smell noticed; until I was again about an hour into my drive. Then the gas smell reappeared, again I stopped, opened the gas cover and pressure again escaped. What could be causing this?
