Hi, I have a 92 Ford Full Size Bronco Eddie Bauer Edition with roughly 211000 miles on it. I just had an interesting experience where my fan assembly came spinning off of my water pump at 4k rpm taking out my radiator. After replacing the water pump, radiator, upper and lower hoses, and putting a flex fan on in the place of the stock fan eliminating the fan clutch because no one had a stock style fan.
Now when I drive it normally it has no problems, but when I'm driving offroad at slow speeds and low rpm it heats up like crazy very very close to overheating. So I turned on the heater on high and got to the closest road and got up to about 45mph and the temp dropped back to normal. But when I slowed down again the temp went back up.
Now before I replaced everything it had a problem with coolant dissappearing and there wasn't any leaks and now since the replacement when it heats up the oil pressure drops. I don't know if these problems are linked or not but I'm really worried about it stranding me out in the middle of nowhere.
I hope this helps thank you
Jason
