Car Experts,

I bought a fuel injected bronco that a previous owner cut the metal fuel lines and hose clamped some flexible fuel hose on to replace the fuel filter.

Does anyone make a hose repair kit so I can fix my fuel lines and properly install a new filter or do I have to buy new ones?
And how hard is it to change the whole line?

Hi:
If a new line is available, it will be from the dealer not a parts store. You could purchase the steel tubbing and make your own, but it will be a job. The fuel tank will need removed and you will need to bend the new fuel line to fit plus double flair the ends and get the correct size fittings to fit the filter.

I would recommend trying to get a new one (if available) from the dealer.
