Here it is, 1995 bronco 351. had some coolant leaks in various places. Replaced the radiator, water pump, hoses, t-stat several times, clutch fan and a couple of leaking freeze plugs. Truck idles good, makes good power, runs very cool over short distances, once it starts to heat up I get no heat from the heater core but the temp gauge slowly climbs towards hot, let off the gas for a short time and the temp drops way down in the normal range. Almost acts like the water pressure at speed is holding the t-stat closed but like I said no heat through the heating system, any suggestions? Thanks

could have air trapped in the system .. try bleeding the cooling system ... also try running without thermostat in place .. see if this makes any difference ?
