I have always had the stock 31" tires on my bronco. I am looking into doing some introductory trail driving this spring and am considering upgrading my tires to something meatier. I tried once to put 32's on it without a lift kit and it rubbed so I went back to the 31's. I spoke briefly with a guy in an off-road shop and he suggested a 3" lift with 35" tires. How much is enough. I don't want to increase the height of my truck any more than I have to but I do want to go with a larger tire. That time is rapidly approaching as I noticed a crack in the sidewall of one of my current tires. I do mostly onroad driving as the Bronco is still my primary vehicle so is there any advice on tire selection also that can serve dual purpose?

3 inches would be plenty, that is what i would go with. that way it allows for more movement if your going offroad, also it looks nicer with 32 inch tires.

iHAVE A 95 BRONCO AND HAVE 33/12.5/15 WITH NO LIFT ALL FACTORY . I HAD TO TRIM THE FRONT BUMPER AT THE CORNERS BUT NOTHING MAJOR. yOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO RUN 33 WITH NO PROBLEM AND NO LIFT. i TGO OUT OFF ROADING WITH NO PROBLEM. IF YOU STILL HAVE A PROBLEM THE EASY WAY AND CHEAP WAY IS A BODY LIFT.
