1994 Ford Bronco severe clicking

Have a look on the inside of the front tires, you have worn U-Joint(S) ...rerplace soon!

i had the u-joints replaced last year anything else it can be? or could they have went that bad i only put 11,000 miles on the truck since the repair please help

From: bono bronco To: merlin2021 Posted: Sun Mar 02, 2008 12:11 am Subject: the 1994 bronco severe clicking my mom bought this truck brand new and gave it to me last year.... but right before i got it she had new u-joints put on and since then only 11.000 miles put on the truck...its not clicking like when the cv-joints go on a car cuz even when im not moving and i turn the wheel the steering pops and clicks only when im turning the wheel not while holding the wheel steady making the turn. also my steering has alot of play in it like 2 inches each way what can that be? sorry for not wording it good the first time. i appreciate all help i get from 2carpros.com you guys are awesome, i recommend this site to every one thank you, Leon Reply to PM: Sounds like the steering box needs a rebuild or replacement...2 inches of ree play and clicking? These a recuirculating ball steering boxes, somethings out of place...
