1990 Bronco, 5.8 efi, e4od automatic, 190000 miles.
I've been getting a 34 trouble code when I use my obd1 scanner. Now most manuals say this is a voltage problem but a mechanic I consulted says I need to replace the egr valve. If it is the egr valve, I can do that myself. If it's some electrical problem then I'm at a loss because electrical has never been my strong suit. I really need to know what I'm looking at here and how to fix it.
