1989 Ford Bronco Tires in at top

Hi there,

Check that the wheel bearings are not loose first, jack up the wheel and there should not be any movement when rocking the wheel top to bottom, check this first.

thats what I thought at first but there is no movement top to bottom or left to right.

Is there any movement in the steering knuckle?

I can't find any slack or movement in any mechanical parts on the front end. Thats what has me so stumped. I can normally fix things, but this is way too complicated. I am hoping to get out of a thousand dollar repair bill. Im a welder not a doctor.

I would now get someone who understands suspension components to watch for any movement when you load the suspension up in reverse, they should be able to see any movement.

My bet is the inner I-Beam bushings are bad. This happens allot when an older truck has an oil leak and leaks oil on the bushings. In time, the oil will deteriorate the rubber.
