Engine Performance problem
1989 Ford Bronco V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

i needed to know in my 89 should the computer show engine for just sensors or what lol? the reason is this the problem is when it is cold she runs like a champ when she starts getting warm slowly looses power the warmer the worst until it stops running then when she cools down fires right back up the reason i ask about computer is i have replaced every cotton picken thing electrical on it even took distr apart and replace those modules and sensors and realized this whole time no engine light?could this be the problem?

have you checked the gas filter? When the engine is cold the computer lets more fuel something like a automatic choke. When the engine gets warm it opens. Check the fuel filter and see if it helps. you could also try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes then reattach this will clear the computer. If there is something wrong then the computer will pick it up. For the computer to completly reset the vehicle needs to be driven about 50 miles. ths does not have to be all at once.
