Transmission problem
1988 Ford Bronco 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual
i recently had my clutch replaced in my 88 bronco 2 all went well for several days then clicking noise started it even clicks when in neutral but really gets bad in 5th or od gear mechnic who replaced clutch says its some bearing in tranny and it common problem i never had any problem until clutch replacement. they want 500 dollars for used tranny is there any way i can assess the problem after i pull tranny out on ground as in side to side slop or end play movement or could it be coming from transfercase where do i start?
