1985 Ford Bronco V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

i bought and edelbrock intake manifold, gaskets and silicon. when i went to put it on the intake was too narrow. its for a 351 and thats what i have. the bolts were off by about 1/4 inch. if it was a 302 it would be to big so i know im not missing that part cuz its too small..what could be wrong

There are two different 351 engines. One is a Cleveland and the other Windsor. Both the Cleveland and the Windsor are 90° small block, but the Windsor routed coolant through the intake manifold, with the hose protruding horizontally, while the Cleveland had a dry manifold with the radiator hose connecting vertically to the cylinder block above the cam timing chain cover.

My guess is you got the wrong intake for your engine.
