Year: 1979
Make: Ford
Model: Bronco (Full Size)
Mileage: Unknown at this time
Engine Size: 351-M

Problem 1 - I installed a new engine 351m w/ original intake manifold, and new carburetor. Engine runs fine when in "Park", but when I put it in gear (R, D or 2, 1) the engine dies, any ideas?

Problem 2 - I have a vacuum advance on my distribrature, and power breaks. The vacuum advance doesn’t seem to advance when I accelerate, and the power breaks (Booster) doesn’t seem to have enough vacuum to work correctly. How much vacuum pressure should there be on the entire system for everything to work correctly?

Seems to me you main problem is finding a vacuum leak! With a vacuum gauge reading on a good engine is 28Hg max
Get a cN OF GUMOUT AND SPRAY AROUND TILL THE IDLE CHANGES, YOU HAVE LOCATED A LEAK!
Sorry hit caps lock!
