1995 Ford Aspire poor gas mileage, no codes other than EGR,

need location of thermostat. Is it nearby the distributer, and do i need to remove a cooling tube?

I'm not sure what you need. THe title is poor mileage and the question deals with the t-stat. As far as the T-stat, follow the upper radiator hose to the engine. It should end at the t-stat housing.
