i have a 1995 ford aspire with a 1.3litter engine it needs a distributor i want to know if there is another make of car with the same motor that has the same distributor that will interchange with it

No, there are no other ones. You need to get one for your car. Are you having trouble finding one?

yes ive checked a lot of junk yards can not find one can my old distributor be fixed? i was told that the module was bad but you can not remove the module.

The Ignition Control Module (ICM) is an integral part of the distributor. If the module is defective, the entire distributor assembly must be replaced. Don't ask me why they did it like that. Does this look like the distributor you are looking for?

If it is, I found them new with a lifetime warranty between $288.00 and 291.00 based on what size rotor diameter you have. I realize that is a lot of money, but I'm sure the car is worth more. If you want, a friend of mine owns a "U-Pull It" junk yard. I could check if he has one. It would be less, but there wouldn't be more than a 30 day warranty on it, so if you plan to keep the car, it may not be the best choice. Let me know. Joe
