1999 Ford Aerostar

interior lights stay on when i open driver side door. i must close all doors, open passenger door, turn ignition on and off and use lock button on passenger door to turn off lights.

door ajar switch in door latch is most likely at fault, try lubricating all door latches (especially driver) with WD40 to see if it helps.
