my transmission will only work in 2nd gear and reverse, I believe its called limp mode, how can I fix this problem?

The first thing you will have to do is do a scan and extract any fault codes, do this and re post and we will see what we can do then.

so it could be something else besides the tranny causing it to go into limp mode?
