My Air Conditioner compressor does not ever cycle off. The air comes out quite cold but if stuck in traffic this problem causes the engine to overheat. If I turn the AC off the overheating problem goes away. I replaced the Low Pressure cycling switch but no change. I have also checked the compressor relay and it works correctly. If I unplug the cycling switch the compressor clutch releases normally. I am wondering if the Accumulator might be the problem. I can't seem to find a wiring diagram for this system so not sure what else might be causing the compressor to run full time. As long as I have forward speed the engine temp stays low but after sitting for just a few minutes the temp steadily climbs. I know the problem is in the compressor cycling I just don't know what to replace. I appreciate your response.

Did you try another cycling switch? It sounds like you got a bad one.
